President Jonathan hosted members of Actors Guild Of Nigeria(AGN) at the State House, where the guild decorated him as the Grand Patron.
Those who made the visit include the likes of Ibinabo Fiberesima, Monalisa Chinda,Stephanie Linus, Fred Amata, Joseph Benjamin, Desmond Elliot, Victor Osuagwu, Chidi Mokeme, Mercy Aigbe and others.
Part of their discussions was that the President should wade into how heads of movie regulatory bodies have failed to move the industry in a path of growth.
The body therefore asked the President to sack heads of movie regulatory agencies, the Nigerian Film Corporation, NFC, and The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) for incompetency.
