Photographer Who Snapped Kate Middleton Topless Will Be Arrested 'Imminently'

The photographer who allegedly took the topless pictures that so devastated Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge has been identified to French authorities according to sources and could face a year in jail and a fine of up to £36,000.
According to The Mirror, French police believe they have found the photographer responsible for the photos taken of Kate and William while they holidayed at a private Chateau in the Provence region of France September.
A source told the newspaper an arrest will happen soon: "The photographer is expected to be held for questioning imminently."
The pictures, which have now been banned in France, were published in French Closer magazine with the royal couple mounting both civil and criminal legal proceedings against the publication.
According to insiders the royal couple are said to be determined to get the maximum punishment following what they described as a “grotesque” invasion of privacy.
They said: “William and Kate are determined to bring the person who took those photos to justice and they’re pushing hard for a custodial sentence. They want to make an example of this person.”
The couple were staying at the Chateau d’Autet when up to 200 intimate photos of the pair sunbathing on a balconywere taken on a long lense camera. The remote holiday home is owned by the Queen's nephew Viscount Linley.
